Does anyone know whether or not the following USB-RS232 Cable from easysync.co.uk will work with Wviewweather for Mac OS X using a Davis WeatherLink datalogger (P/N: 06510SER).

Hi

Database use is optional. If you later decide that you do want to use one, wview will backfill the database with all of your historical data.

Does anyone know whether or not a PL-2303 USB-Serial Adapter needs to be used for wviewweather installation using a VP datalogger with Serial Connector (not VPII version)?.
