No, I don't know of any Lantronix forums. There seem to be none on their web site. You might try http://www.tomsnetworking.com/, and the forums that they link to.

BTW, in addition to the ideas th ...

Is this related to weatherview? It sounds like it isn't. With weatherview, there's no reason for a second UDS100 at the computer end. The computer simply accesses the weather station over ethernet, ...

So you don't use wviewftpd at all? That makes sense - I was a little surprised that it's a C program rather than a script. I guess it was done that way in order to have it fit into the same radlib / ...

I have my Vantage Pro connected to my computer over the Ethernet, using a Lantronix UDS100. I configured it exactly as described in the manual for the Lantronix MSS100 device. The good news is that ...

After posting this, I decided that I was being a bit silly not to try it out. So, I modified the line in ftpUtils.c to
args
then did a "make" and a "sudo make install".

It wo ...

I've got wview pretty much up and working, except that ftp doesn't work. It winds up just putting some zero length files in my remote image directory, with names like .pureftpd-upload.44c6f056.15.584 ...

Thanks for the script, but I don't see how to edit htmlgen.conf in order to get it to generate parameterlist.html. There is a copy of parameterlist.txt in /etc/wview/html, but just putting it there d ...

Thanks! I wasn't familiar with ImageMagick, but this plus one or two of the existinng graphics should do the job.

Do you just execute this script from a cron entry?

It would be very nice to have a weather summary png that I could stick on a page, so that the user could see updated weather on a page that is not autogenerated by wview. Here's a very nice example, ...

Then, if it polls the station more often than it archives, what does it do with the extra data? Is it just to create new html's, and then discard?

So it's necessary to poll the station for this pu ...
