|
|
Hi all,
We're getting very enthusiastic about wview
We would like to migrate weather data from the former software.
We managed to build ARC files, corresponding to those produced
by wviewd, at 1min interval, for each day available in our database
(all in 2005).
Is there any way to get those data into WLK format so as to display
them on the webpage (especially in graphs) ?
Many thanks,
Brice |

Was the former software Weatherlink?
If so wview uses the same file format and you just have to move the WLK files into the /var/wview/archive directory...
If not, no, no current way to build WLK files from generic data. The data would need to have all (or most) of the data in a WLK record and a utility would have to be developed to convert it and write the proper WLK format.
I also moved your topic to Wishlist since this isn't trouble, but rather a feature question...

I have old NOAA data I would like to convert to WLK format and use as well - so it is now recorded on the wish list.
