Hello there. I've got a Davis Weather Monitor II with Weatherlink, and I want to set it up to use some software on Linux.

Does WView support the Weather Monitor II, and if not, can it be easily modified to do so? (I noticed there's a document on the site describing differences in the protocol...)

Also, is there any way built into wview, or through a seperate daemon (or such) to send out APRS weather data packets via a TNC on a serial port?

Not unless the WM II uses the exact same protocol as the Vantage Pro. Easily modified? I dunno without studying the WM II...

I am not familiar with two terms here: APRS and TNC. So I cannot answer the question - wview sends CWOP packets via a telnet interface and Wunderground packets via an HTTP interface.
