Hi,

what happens if the database server is down or not reachable due to other problems (network etc.)? E.g. you have an archive intervall of 15 minutes and wview is up and running but can't reach the database for 10 hours. What happens with the datasets? Are they lost?

Thanks & regards,
Marko

Nope, as of the 2.0.0 release there is a new daemon called wviewsqld which synchronizes the binary database to the SQL database. Whenever the db server comes back, it will bring it back up to date.
