Is it normal for wviewd to max out the CPU on a Mac OS X 10.3.9 machine (a spare 466 MHz iBook G3 I had lying around) when using the simulator? It's not a major deal if it does as long as it doesn't do the same thing once I switch over to live data from a Vantage Pro2 console (within the next week, after my WeatherLink package arrives). By the same token, if it is indicative of a more wide ranging problem, I want to get it resolved before I switch over. The system.log is not showing anything peculiar.

After running for awhile, I noticed that it tended to go in spurts: it would load down the CPU for several minutes and then settle back down. I've now gone live and, so far, I haven't had the problem recur.
