|
|
I'm trying to upgrade (from 1.8.6) to 1.9.1 and the make and install of both radlib 2.6 and wview seem to be going fine. No errors or warnings that I can see while it compiles. and installs.
unfortunately, when I *first* installed and ran it (with the new Debian script) it starts up fine... then htmlgend dies somewhere I *think* when it tries to do the generation... I see logs right up until then, then nothing from htmlgend... but an error message complaining about not "opening a pipe" for rad?
I reinstalled/make etc. and now I don't get an error message... but it still dies.
Help! |

Post the actual logs please...
Also post "ls -al /var/wview" and make sure you have the new start script starting radmrouted... |

Sorry I didn't include them before, had to run...
This is the "pipe broken error" that happens when it tries to ftp it seems...
Code: |

and that is the point at which htmlgend fails and I start getting pipe errors.

i just noticed something... if you look at the graphs on my page.. they're updated but the time stamps are still at 3PM this afternoon. So it's obviously generating some if not all of the images at least... but it's not updating the .htx files |

after watching the logs.. it looks like the radmount errors are generated when the new archives are downloaded |

You have some custom images being generated, comment those out, anything you have done custom...
Did you move your images-user.c back into the 1.9.1 source tree before building it? If you didn't it will not like the images called out in images-user.conf not being in the images-user.c file. Comment them out in images-user.conf to see if this is the problem.
You have to be careful to copy back your custom images-user.c when upgrading with custom images...
