I've followed Mac install instructions and rebooted computer. Console shows these messages. I don't know what lookupd is, so I've started the excerpt here. First key message for wview appears to be: vpifMediumInit: medium setup failed

That indicates that the serial port has not been opened, probably because your serial device is not specified properly in the wviewconfig script setup.

wview will not run without the serial interface to the VP console. Check the /dev directory for your USB device name.
