I just finshed installing wview on my linux box here at home, and I just want to point out something I discovered. I'm using version 3.2.1. The user manual and on other older posts to these forums, I found references to the ARCHIVE_INTERVAL parameter in the wview.conf file. Using wviewconfig however, doesn't prompt for that parameter, nor will adding it manually have any effect.

I finally found a post that mentioned that parameter, which also affects the wunderground update rate, is set on the console itself, or using vpconfig.

Once I found that, I was able to change the update rate, but I had to lose all the archived data (not a huge deal for me, though.)

It might help to update the user guide when you can (sections 13.1.3 and 15.2.)
